Hello,
my VCX nano went unexpectedly off today during ecu reading. It was connected wireless to my diagnose IDS laptop. VCX_WiFi is dead and even USB connection is not recognized anymore on VX Manager software . Blue led stays off, only red led is working. When connected to laptop via USB cable it still shows up on window device manager as COM5 FDTI device. Is there a way to do a factory reset ? How can i fix it ?
VCX adapter is bought here some years ago.

I have the VCXNano installed and Forscan (free) installed. I hooked up to Powerboost and was able to access truck. Interestingly, for modules that included the VIN, all modules showed my VIN

Hello,
I have purchased VCX Nano WiFi version ( Ford Mazda ) from your shop and it has been working fine until last week. Problems started with the new version of VX Manager 1.8.9.
The problem is that, without an active internet connection, VX Manager can not find the device. Starting IDS( with Patch ), gives the same error, "No device" ! No problem with an active internet connection.
This way i cannot use my device outside my house, and this is a big problem.

Can anyone from technical service be of help ?

Hello
For the problem, you need to update your device firmware to newest version with vx manager v1.8.9. Firmware version is v1.9.2 usually.

After update finish, you can disconnect internet connection, connect device to laptop, open vx manager to check if it can find the device.

If still cannot. Need to disconnect all connections of the device and reconnect it after three minutes.

did a pcm update on my 2010 2.4 Mk7 with a VCX Nano (came with IDS 1125). It was the longest minute of my life but worked flawlessly. I connected to the adapter via USB as opposed to WiFi and it's said it's best to keep a steady 14v supply while updating. Hope it helps.

Today I had a licensing issue on VCX Nano I bought from them a few years ago and they still took the time to fix it for me. I am super impressed with this as most places wouldn’t help after the warranty period. Buy from this seller if you want the best support!

For some new models, need to use FDRS, IDS cannot support. But sorry, we do not have FDRS Software.

Good morning
I have problem with my vcx nano device, I bought it for long time, Just installed it To use but under licence no information.

Then I get reply from customer service to get network for vx manager, then update firmware and license.

At last, works perfectly.

Hi, Just downloaded IDS124 and the Patch. When I connect my device patch ask me the dealer number.

my order for a VXDiag VCX NANO for mazda.
 
I downloaded from MEGA, the Mazdaids-124.exe
 
and installed.
Then I only see VCI Manager(Mzd) 20.11.24.exe and installed it.

Mazda IDS Installation:
1. Install mazdaids-1**
2. Wait for mazdaids – 1** installation to complete and restart the computer
3. Install VX manager and Ford IDS driver
4. Wait for VX manager and Ford IDS driver installation to complete
5. Connect VCX device and install idspatch
6. Use idspatch to open IDs and start diagnosis.
 
 
 
Where is the #3. VX Manager and Ford IDS driver ?
I looked at the DVD disks and don't see.
 
  1. install mazdaids-124.exe
  2. install VCI Manager(Mzd) 20.11.24.exe
  3. install idspatch.exe
 
So I run the idspatch and it said license not found.
 
 
I see a VCI manager(Ford) and can open.
But the VCI Manger for Mazda-VCM II just error out.

We confirmed with enigneer, for Mazda IDS install, no need to install original VCI software_ 1.0.0.10.exe or VCI Manager(Mzd) 20.11.24.exe (The 3rd step)
For other installation steps, they are the same as Ford IDS. Please try again.

For the Mazda IDS Driver, you can connect device to laptop, open vx manager, click "Diagnostic" menu on the top, to find the IDS driver on the list, then click it to install.

I followed the steps to install software, 

1. Install Ford IDS-***
2. Wait for the installation of Ford IDS - * * *, and restart the computer
3. Install the Ford original VCI software_ 1.0.0.10.exe
4. Install VX manager and Ford IDS driver
5. Wait for VX manager and Ford IDS driver installation to complete
6. Connect VCX device and install idspatch
7. Use idspatch to open IDs and start diagnosis.

But where can I get the VCI Software 1.0.0.10?

Hi. The reprogramming function stopped working after a month. This is not a device for work - this is a piece of shit! The support only pretends to want to help, in fact it does nothing. Don't buy this shit !!!!

For your problem, engineer said it cannot support programming with your offline calibration file. It must work with original online account of IDS. If you do not have, need to return the device to us, when we receive the package, will refund to you.

Hello, I have bought a VCX Nano for a Ford Mazda from you and I am not satisfied until the end. I believe that the Mazda IDS program is truncated. It does not have all the functions. No bleeding of the brakes, no EPB service, no possibility to actuate the devices in the vehicle. not many diagnostic tests. Lack of AT support, i.e. testing and venting the gearbox. There are sometimes more in the free versions than in your IDS. Program tested on windows 10 pro on Mazda 6 2015, 2.0 petrol engine with automatic transmission. regards

Thanks very much for your feedback, but for the special functions you mentioned, it needs to perform with original online IDS account. You would have to get the account by yourself.

16 Focus ST1 Installed a replacement PCM. I have a cheapo VXDIAG VCX Nano (j2534 interface) and a 2 day FJDS subscription. I ran the Module reprograming function in FJDS completed successfully. Ran PCM learn function in FJDS, PCM test, clear CMDTC, KAM reset, hopped on one foot while rubbing tummy and patting head.

After download, please install the new vx manager.
Then connect device to laptop, laptop connecting network, open new vx manager, click "Firmware" to update, then click "Update license" to renew.
