For me vcx se is versatile, you can add the licenses afterwards, does the job in general, I haven't managed to get it to work on official xentry and Jaguar Pathfinder (in DOIP) otherwise it goes pretty well, also there is updates.

is it support to add more licenses in futures ?

Tried the VXDiag VCX SE with Toyota techstream software - confirmed that it programmed the new ID as 2nd set. Used button in glovebox to swap w 3 press sequence. Didn't get a chance to drive the car to allow dash to update, but could see new ID and pressures.

I have one and it works well for what it is. You can use them as a pass thru or you can use it for designated dealer software ford ids for example. With that one you can pick up to 3 to use as a dealer tool, doesn’t have dodge. It works great with fjds and gm programming as a j2534 box.

I am looking for an ODB-II solution for a 2012 and 2017 Chevy Volt.
What is the difference between the VCX SE Pro and Nano if I'm only interested in working with those two cars?
Are there any additional software subscription services to view run-time diagnostics?
 

I was doubtful about the capabilities of this device. You have to be tech savi to understand and use, although simple to understand. I've had the device for a year now and It does works as intended and a subscription is needed for some programing activities. To make it easier on yourself and future proof, buy the SSD with the software. if you need help , they have great customer support and assistance.
