The device include the license for BMW, it is lifetime license, if you see the license time only have a 60 days, it is normal, the license can be updated in VX-Manager for free.
Please remember to upgrade the firmware, DoIp, license after you install the latest version VX-Manager. 
If need to update vcx se BMW to full brands, check other brand license activation. 
The VCX SE will not do BMW motorcycles.
