Hello,
my VCX nano went unexpectedly off today during ecu reading. It was connected wireless to my diagnose IDS laptop. VCX_WiFi is dead and even USB connection is not recognized anymore on VX Manager software . Blue led stays off, only red led is working. When connected to laptop via USB cable it still shows up on window device manager as COM5 FDTI device. Is there a way to do a factory reset ? How can i fix it ?
VCX adapter is bought here some years ago.

I bought the PSA License this month. SW Installed, PSA VCI manager shows VCI, VXDIAG show licence but PSA DIAGBOX show green connected icon, but still ask Connect VCI.
The tech support checked my PC by remote, found there are different brands software installed on same system. Suggested to get a clean system to reinstall.
Then I finally fixed it today with fresh install again of Windows and Diagbox, so now it is working. Thank you.

Once I got it figured out it works well. Genuine mechanic shop here in Middle Tennessee. Install VX Manager, Install the software, Open the program from within VX Manager or it won't work. When you open it, choose your adaptor, then when it loads, click offline, and it will load and work. Software says that it's for 2018 and up only but it worked just fine on a 2014.

I use the original vcm2 tool every day for the last since the day it was released
The vcx nano tool is a great tool can't fault it in anyway it's much faster then the original vcm2 and works without any problems including programming in ids and fdrs please note fdrs does require and genuine license key and ford login account but I already have these so it's been no problem also once installed ids 130 from vcx website was able to install latest version from ford website 131.02 and works without any problems
Definitely recommend this tool

Greatest tool ever. I was told I needed to have my traction battery replaced due to a "High Voltage" message that poped up on my 2012 chevy volt. I took a gamble and bought the VCX Nano along with a $40 one year license from ACDelco. The total was less than the dealer's cost to diagnose. As it turns out, a moisture sensor needed reprogramming. The VCX Nano accessed dealer only codes and fixed everything saving me over $3000... no BS, it's nice to get something that actually does what it says. VCX se is a great all round starter tool, if you are starting from zero. You can get the FD later and just get the ford and gm licences for that.

I got the VX Diag VCX Nano. Installed the driver, launched the VXManager, Launched SDD without reinstalling(same one I’ve been using with VCM) and it picked it up as JLR-VCI. Worked like a charm and I was able to pull codes, clear codes, toggle switches in the suspension diagnostic mode, everything worked as promised, plus it works through wifi too. Connects to all modules too without a problem.

I use them both vcx nano and tech2, depending on what I'm doing determines which one I use. If programming a module on 07 and older vehicles I will use the Tech2 with TIS2000, if on newer vehicles I use the Nano and TIS2WEB.
The Tech2 with the correct software can diagnose vehicles up to 2013 but only program up to 2007 using TIS2000. Nano has been working fine for a little while now.
I am using a small laptop with windows 7 with the Nano and the Tech2 for programming using Pass-thru mode and all is working fine. If all you are wanting to do is diagnostics on vehicles then the Nano will do it and it will do everything the Tech2 will do. The Nano uses a windows based program that is a Tech2 emulator called TECH2WIN and has all the same menus and functions as the Tech2 I purchased my nano along with a laptop with needed software from VXDiagshop, they use email support and Teamviewer if needed for a tech to login to your computer and look things over. they've been very fast to answer my questions and give support. I have to say that VXDIAG VCX SE is the best solution for Benz. I also had a cheap Openport, oddly enough it was showing errors on control devices I didn't even install. I don't have this problem with VXDIAG VCX SE for Mercedes. In my opinion, coding using DTS is also safer. Of course, the price is not exactly low, but for me it was worth it.

I can not connect to any of the brands via the scantool.
 
With JLR pathfinder program I enter my account and log in but it tells me ‘VCI requires updating’ The VCI is already updated.
