How to Activate VXDIAG Subaru SSM4 V28.6.0 up?

VXDIAG Subaru SSM3 does not require activation, newer version SSM4 v28.6.0 and later does. Follow guide below to activate SSM4. 
 

When run SSM4 from patch, it says the product password does not match.

Press OK will bring you a dialog below

Copy Product ID

Run SubaruID program, paste Product ID here

Run SSM4 from patch again. Software is ready to use.
